Raymond Berning Named Among Engineering Leaders Under 40

Sioux Center, IA - Interstates Companies is pleased to announce that Raymond Berning has been named among the Engineering Leaders Under 40 class of 2016 sponsored by Control Engineering and Plant Engineering magazines. Engineering Leaders Under 40 is a recognition program to identify and recognize young engineers who have made significant contributions toward the control engineering profession.

?Over the years Raymond has been an integral part of the success of Interstates Control Systems, Inc. and we appreciate his efforts in the control systems and automation field,? says Jason Anson, Division Manager, Interstates Control Systems. ?Raymond is very deserving of this award and we are excited to see him obtain this level of recognition through these publications and in honor of his dedication to Interstates.?

Raymond earned his AAS Degree in Electrical Technology and Industrial and Commercial Wiring from Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, IA. He joined Interstates in 2007. For nearly 10 years, he has grown his technical expertise and is currently serving as a Lead Control Systems Analyst. He leads projects and a team of people to deliver high quality controls solutions across a number of platforms. Berning?s solid technical background of programming concepts helped Interstates derive standard batching functionality for chemical processing facilities which, they have expanded upon for the past seven years. Outside of work, Berning enjoys fishing and 4-wheeling with his six year old son.
