Michael De Boer Named Among Control Engineering Leaders Under 40

Interstates Companies is pleased to announce that Michael De Boer has been named among the Control Engineering Leaders Under 40 class of 2012. Control Engineering Leaders Under 40 is a recognition program to identify and recognize young leaders who are making significant contributions toward the controls, instrumentation and automation industries.

"Michael is an integral part of the success of Interstates Control Systems, Inc. and we appreciate his efforts in the control systems and automation field," says Jeff White, Director of Technical Services, Interstates Control Systems. "Michael is very deserving of this award and we are excited to see him obtain this level of recognition through Control Engineering in honor of his dedication to his field."

Michael earned his AAS Degree in Industrial Instrumentation in 1999 from Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, IA. He joined Interstates on a part time basis in 1997 while working toward his degree and remained with the company full time upon graduation in 1999. He has served as lead programmer, supervising both PLC and HMI programming. Currently, he serves as a Division Manager for Interstates Control Systems, Inc. He is responsible for client management and installation and project management of all I-Control projects. He resides in Sioux Center, IA with his wife, and two children.
